heh, I actually this just last week. Not that it's an issue really, it just doesn't look that good to me (unless they make "a thing" of it).

I myself am on a hunt. Looking for a pretty versatile guitar that can play anything from The Libertines to The Jesus and Mary Chain. Was thinking about £500 at most. Any zuggestions?

anyone got or played a danelectro dano '59? really want one as my first electric guitar, but they seem too cheap to be truly awesome.

All the Danelectro stuff I've played/used has been crap anyway. The pickups they use really are a pile of shit.

the lipstick pick-ups were actually one of the main reasons i wanted one.

I've decided this year's ambition is to get a Gretsch. It's going to take a lot of saving & a few nights not eating anything but it'll be worth it.
