 All of the emails regarding the tickets will have been sent out by midnight tonight. Even if you haven't been successful, you should still receive a email informing you of this.If you have been successful and have obtained your pin, you can register for tickets anytime between 9am Saturday and 12am Monday night. If you do not register your tickets during this period your PIN will become invalid. It is also advised that you do not share your PIN with your friends as your tickets may become invalid. Many people have been critical of this system, saying it will not stop touts as anyone can sign up with as many email addresses as they wish. We would love to know what people think about this, whether you got your tickets or not. |

| Arctic Monkeys to Tour UK | ||
 To precede the release of their second album, "Favourite Worst Nightmare", the Arctic Monkeys will hit the road on the 9th April to tour the UK.They will perform 11 dates in total, including two at the London Astoria and two at the Sheffield Leadmill. The full set of dates is as follows: Monday 9th April Guildhall, Southampton Tickets go "on sale" on Friday the 16th March, and to ensure you get yours, you must be signed up to the Arctic Monkeys mailing list before 7pm Wednesday (GMT). Then, a random selection of people will be chosen who will then be provided with a PIN and be allowed to buy their tickets. This measure is to ensure that only geniune fans purchase tickets, not the ticket touts. We are trying hard to fight against touting and therefore invite you to take part in a fair ballot to get tickets for this tour. The mailing list will close at 19.00 on Wednesday the 14th of March. You will then all be mailed and asked to register for one venue and date only including your age and postal address. |
