| With numerous award ceremonies coming up, it is no surprise to see that the Arctic Monkeys are nominated for several different awards. At the Nme Awards, the Arctic Monkeys are nominated for Best New Band, along with the Editors, Magic Numbers, Maximo Park and We Are Scientists. You can vote for Arctic Monkeys - Best New Band by clicking here. Arctic Monkeys are also nominated for Best British Band, Best Live Band and Best Track (I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor). The NME awards take place on February 23rd at the London Hammersmith Palais. Arcti Monkeys are also nominated for Best Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards this year. Voting for the award does not open until February 4th. |

just wanted to say the arctic monkeys r the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!by far!there is absolutely no competition and if they dont win every award they r nominated for it wud b criminal!

arctic monkeys are amazing and deserve every1 of them awards and theres no doubt that they are going to get all of them cuz every 1 loves them

i just watched the show and they seemed to be a bit drunk already when they won best group!
