Arctic Monkeys win Best British Breakthrough Act

It's official - Arctic Monkeys are the Best British Breakthrough Act of 2024.
With strict competition from the likes of the Magic Numbers, Kaiser Chiefs and James Blunt, Arctic Monkeys were obviously shocked to receive the award. According to brits.co.uk:

"We're awash with emotion, we're aghast." they wibbled.

The awards took place today (Feb 15) and will be broadcast in the UK tomorrow at 8pm on ITV1.

Arctic Monkeys are currently in Portsmouth as part of the NME Awards Tour, and were therefore unavailable to accept the award in person. A pre-recorded message (apparently controversial) was shown.
