By 4kings on 20 Apr 2006 05:08 pm

what happened?

By cress on 20 Apr 2006 05:19 pm

I wonder how much money we'd get if we were to sell mardy bum. Quite a lot, hopefully.

By dan on 20 Apr 2006 05:27 pm

i went on it once, and i couldn't believe how much advertisement there was from other bands on it tryin' to ride on the AM's success. i say they're all sellouts, every single one angry

wtf wassat

By scummy on 20 Apr 2006 07:29 pm

An explanation would have been nice Kane. Was it bought on Ebay? wassat

By aaron on 20 Apr 2006 07:33 pm

i edited the article. kane isnt the best journalist.
anyway, it seems odd that the last login on the myspace page was 4/9/2006 (9th apr) and the auction itself ended 3 days ago. it doesn't take 3 days to send an email.
and the auction page has been removed, which i'm pretty sure doesn't happen this soon after an auction has ended.

By dan on 20 Apr 2006 08:14 pm

so bassically he sold the password for £1000?

By alex on 20 Apr 2006 09:52 pm

That's how I understand it

By 4kings on 20 Apr 2006 10:03 pm

By Jamie P on 20 Apr 2006 10:34 pm

such a croc of shit. who the fuc wud bye this

By fuc7 on 21 Apr 2006 12:29 am

i suppose somebody will be taking advantage of advertising or something?... i can't think of any other reason to buy a myspace, hahah

By ehm on 21 Apr 2006 02:28 am

Didnt Myspace play a key part in their success?

Its a peice of history, I can see why people bid.

Although having said that i wouldnt have bought it,

shane.

By SDE on 21 Apr 2006 12:51 pm

myspace had nothing to do with their success, they didnt even know about myspace until everyone started labelling them a 'myspace band'

lots of americans seem to have that stuck in their head for some reason.

By john on 21 Apr 2006 08:08 pm

hah that was stupid

By Laney on 22 Apr 2006 12:01 am

bit random - But Arctic Monkeys are under alot of pressure atm. i mean ffs they dont WANT yo be famous and if the press and whoever else keep giving them a bad time they will be gone forever. and now im typing shit, but whoelse agrees about whatever i wrote above?

I have just read this..
"It's a mission statement, if you like," Turner said in San Francisco as he wound down from the show. "We want to do things our way, and people think it's arrogance, so it's inevitable some people will get tired of us. That's why," he grins as he slugs down a beer, "we sing, 'Bring on the backlash!' "

It put a smilie on my face!

I am not happy! i went on it before it was sold and it was much better! As if you do!
