Arctic Monkeys Brit Awards Nominations |

Arctic Monkeys have received two nominations for the 2007 Brit Awards.
The band have been nominated for Best British Group alongside Kasabian, Muse, Razorlight and Snow Patrol, while fastest-selling debut album 'Whatever people Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' faces competition from female artists Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen, aswell as Muse and Snow Patrol in the Mastercard British Album category.

why no british breakthrough act? isn't the fastest selling british debut album ever the definition of breakthrough act of all time let alone the year?

i think you'll find they won british breakthrough act LAST year!!!!!! so they can't exactly be classed as a breakthrough the year after
