| Another One Of Those HUGE Updates |
|
That's right, more and more downloads and multimedia for you leeches to enjoy.
First off we have a bunch of new scans added from Rolling Stone Magazine (thanks to Theodore Reed) and special thanks to Iain McDowell who sent us a great copy of the February issue of Alternative Ulster which we then scanned. Click Here For Our Scans
Secondly, we are glad to report that we have had an overwhelming amount of Wallpaper submissions; However, a lot of people are submitting images with smaller resolutions than 1280*1024px. Please note that wallpapers must be at least 1280*1024px to be accepted. Nonetheless, we have added a new wallpaper since one of you met the requirments. Click Here For Our Wallpapers
Third is our lyrics section. We have updated the B-sides/other lyrics page with the new tracks from the forthcoming EP 'Who The Fuck Are Arctic Monkeys?'.

Finally - and once again never failing to make our fans happy - we have added two FULL Live Performances to our Music Downloads page.
The first is the recent Arctic Monkeys performance in Washington DC at the 930 Club - Including yet another high quality version of 'Leaving Before The Lights Come On'. But the second is a very rare full set from Peter And Deborra's Living Room from way back in January 2005. As some of you will be aware, the live performance of '7 from this gig has been available for a long time, but never has a website provided you with the whole set - Except Mardy-Bum.com!

| Second Album Well Underway |
|
Alex Turner has revealed his excitement about returning to the recording studio, after announcing that the band already have ten new songs for their second album.
In an interview with Nuts Magazine, he said: "The second album will be different I think. We've already got more than ten songs, because we've been writing for a long time.
The last song that went on the (first) album - 'You Probably Couldn't See For The Lights But You Were Looking Straight At Me' - was written last May.
So there are all the songs that we've written since then and they're all a bit different. I'll just be excited about getting back into the studio."
Alex also mentioned how the lads like to have a bit of fun and games with their success: "I think we write great tunes and we ruffle feathers pretty well. I think, when you're in a position to do some feather ruffling, it's not always a bad thing. I don't know even why we do it - we just like being fucking naughty little boys sometimes."
Here's to more feather-ruffling and a great second album, people. |
