Arctic Monkeys Meet The Beatles |

Or at least the best damn Japanese tribute band anyway!
That's right, this is a photo of the lads and a Japanese Beatles tribute act in a Tokyo bar called "Abbey Road". Apparently these japanese guys are meant to be so good that if you close your eyes they could be mistaken for the real thing.
...sure.

Ian Brown speaks about Arctic Monkeys |
|
Ian Brown was the recommender for this weeks NME mag
and here's what he said about the arctic monkeys...
'I like the arctic monkeys because they have got an edge that i think has been missing from bands for five to ten years maybe...my little niece is a massive fan she has seen them 5 times already, and she is only 15. I love the way they have created their own generation gap.kids their own age, they've got their own band, there they are.Straight out of no where to number 1. i am an orginal punk rocker and i can hear the spirit and the verve in them.there is not alot of energy in bands these days.Arctic Monkeys have got taht energy.and i love the way they are northern.you dont hear many good northern voices on record,so its great to here a northern voice in there.' |
